As it lacks covered lights and also lacks sidemarkers, I wonder if this is a grey market series II, a series II where the sidemarkers were removed, or maybe the unusual series 1.5.

That’s a s
eries II (69-71) FHC (Fixed head coupe). The earlier SII cars had the
side markers, but they were not wired and only worked as reflectors. It’s likely that they were removed when the car was repainted.
That’s either a 1969 or an early 1970.
